Panchakarma Treatment `{`Duration 21-28 days`}`

Detox Treatment is termed Panchakarma treatment in Ayurveda. This is a set of five procedures namely Vamana, Virechana, Nirooha vasti, Anuvasana vasti and Nasya. Vamana is emesis treatment to remove unwanted toxins. Virechana is  the purgatory treatment for cleansing of bile. Nirooha vasti and Anuvasana vasti are two types of enema treatment. Nasya is a cleansing treatment for ears, eyes nose and throat. Panchakarma treatment is preceded by Purvakarma treatment which brace the Patient for Panchakarma treatments. Panchakarma treatment intends to relieve the body of all unwanted toxins and set it back to its natural state of equilibrium.

Diagnosis

The diagnosis in Ayurveda is achieved through three procedures. The first is ‘Darsana’, which is observing the Physiological characteristics of the Patient. The second is ‘Sparsana’. This involves Physiological examination of the patient. The third is ‘Prasna’, which is collecting the medical and related history of the Patient through questionnaire interaction. After conducting these functions the Vaidya arrive at a conclusion regarding the Doshas or mistakes in the bodily constitution of the Patient and prescribes according treatment.
